My personal journey into nutrition began when I fell ill in the fall of 2005. I was diagnosed with severe perimenopause, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues and high levels of stress. To heal these health conditions, I went from one doctor and surgeon to the next. The only solutions offered were surgery and prescription drugs, which only served to make my health worse, almost fatally so.
“In the year 2006, I underwent 3 surgeries and was admitted to hospital 9 times! Yes, 9. That scary year of sickness had the most profound effect on my life. So, when I regained better health, I decided to go back to school to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist to help other women/men in my situation. It was through my education that my health and life radically changed just by implementing some very fundamental nutritional habits alone.”
